Work
Jobs that repeat by date or by engine hours, one-off jobs, and problems you found. Finish a job and the next one is scheduled.
For private sailboat owners
Equipment, maintenance, engine hours, trips, documents and parts in one record that works at the boat with no signal. Connect an AI assistant that supports MCP and it can log a sail or read the service list, with only the access you gave it. Nothing it changes is hidden.
One page shows what is overdue, what is coming up and what is waiting to sync, in the order to deal with it.
Trips, engine hours, problems and finished jobs are recorded as they happen and stay linked to each other.
Manuals, receipts, registration and insurance sit beside the equipment they belong to, with their expiry dates.
What it does
Jobs that repeat by date or by engine hours, one-off jobs, and problems you found. Finish a job and the next one is scheduled.
Start a sail, add entries with your position, end it with the engine hours. Or log the whole sail afterwards in one form. Each trip has its own page, with a map when it has positions.
Every piece of gear with its specifications, service and expiry dates, engine-hour readings, problems and the parts that fit it.
Photos, manuals and receipts, plus the boat's papers. An expiring registration or policy shows up before it lapses.
What is aboard and where it is stowed, what to buy, what is on order, and kits put together for a job or a trip.
Your own lists for boarding, departure, arrival or engine start. Run one before a trip and it stays with that trip.
At the boat
Everything can be read and changed offline, on a phone, a tablet or a laptop. Changes wait on the device and sync when you are back in range, and the app always says how many are waiting.
It runs in the browser and installs to your home screen. There is no App Store app yet.
Your assistant
LazyJack has no chatbot of its own: you bring the assistant. It lets an assistant that supports MCP, the open standard for connecting assistants to tools, connect to your boat's record with an access token you create, so you can ask about the boat or record things by talking.
Log today's sail: out to the point and back, about three hours. Engine is at 432.5.
Logged the trip for today and recorded 432.5 h on the Volvo Penta D2. The oil and filter change is due at 440 engine hours.
What should I sort out before the weekend?
Two things first: the raw-water impeller is overdue, and the life raft's service date passed on 12 Sep.
Your data
One download holds every record, every file and a readable report you can print or hand to a surveyor, a yard or a buyer.
The same download goes back into an empty account, with its history, if you ever need it to.
You can remove your account and what is in it yourself, from the app.
Private testing
LazyJack is in private testing, with one sailboat per account. Leave your email and we will write when there is a place for you. Nothing else will be sent.
